Adventurequest's
staff is an incredible and diverse group of individuals,
hand picked from a large number of applicants each year.
Guides are selected for their job related work experience,
personality, character, education, knowledge, and personal
skills.
Staff
members are grouped together to provide a well rounded
staff for each group. Every
staff team has both male and female guides. Each group
has a certified EMT, and all guides are certified in
CPR and basic First Aid. Many of our guides are experienced
teachers or have some educational background. Above
all, staff members are selected for their outstanding
leadership skills. All staff receive extensive in house
training with Adventurequest before they guide any trips.
In
addition to Adventurequest's outstanding professional
guide staff, we occasionally employ other outfitters
for the day to assist us with our daily activities.
For example, we will have additional guides on the river
when we whitewater raft. These outfitters provide the
additional equipment, and assistance we need, thus,
improving our camper to guide ratio and offering our
group another perspective for the day.
All
guides are at least 21 years old, all drivers have good
driving records and are at least 25 years old. Thorough
background checks are done on all persons considered
for employment.
