All programs include all costs for all activities, professional staff and guides, transportation while at Adventurequest, food, and lodging.

Additional costs include transportation to and from Bozeman, Montana, personal gear (see What To Bring), and personal spending money.

 

 

Below is a typical 21 - Day Adventurequest camp itinerary from a previous year.

Schedules change every year to offer new exciting chalenges for returning campers.

 

Day 1 - Arrive Gallatin Field Airport, Bozeman, Montana: Meet the group, orientation, camp cookout on the Gallatin River. Fly Fishing, swimming etc...

Day 2 - Day hike: Beehive Basin, Spanish Peaks Wilderness (High alpine lake fly fishing option).

Day 3 - Mountain biking: Gallatin National Forest (introduction, paved roads, dirt roads, & single track)

Day 4 - Mountain biking: Big Sky Ski & Summer Resort. Lift access single track, and downhill mountain biking.(alternate activity, hike Lone Mountain)

Day 5 - Water safety course(swift water dynamics). Whitewater Kayaking on the Gallatin river.

Day 6 - Travel to Teton Canyon, Wyoming (approximately three hours):scenic chair ride (Grand Tetons) for picnic lunch: Grand Targhee Ski & Summer Resort. Sightsee, souvieneer shopping in West Yellowstone.

Day 7 - Ropes, knots, climbing techniques, safety course. Climbing wall.

Day 8 - Whitewater rafting - Snake River. Afternoon souvieneer shopping in Jackson Wyoming. Travel to Yellowstone National Park(approximately 1 hour).

Day 9 - Wildlife safari, Old Faithful, and Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

Day 10 - Day hike Avalanche peak.

Day 11 - Soak in the hot springs of the boiling river, see Old Faithful, mud pots, Tower falls, etc...

Day 12 - Move camp to Rock Creek: Search & rescue demonstration, orienteering, Avalanche transciever practice, Mountaineering skills - self arrest, glissade, glacier features etc...

Day 13 - Rest day :Camp games... ie ultimate frisbee etc...evening prepare for backpack trip.

Day 14 - Start Backpack trip: Absoroka-Beartooth Wilderness.

Day 15 - Backpack trip: Absoroka-Beartooth Wilderness.

Day 16 - Backpack trip: Absoroka-Beartooth Wilderness.

Day 17 - End Backpack trip: Absoroka-Beartooth Wilderness. Big timber waterpark.

Day 18 - Travel to climbing site. Intro to rock climbing.

Day 19 - A.M. Rock Climbing, P.M. Tubing on the Yellowstone River, Rock Climbing in the evening.

Day 20 - A.M. Rock Climbing, Travel to Spanish Creek (approximately 1 hour) for farewell barbeque and awards.

Day 21 - Depart from Gallatin Field Airport, Bozeman, Montana.
