CAMPING WITH ADVENTUREQUEST!

What is daily camp life like?

Daily camp life at Adventurequest is fun and easy.

Our campgrounds are a mix of National Forest and National Park sites with all the amenities, and some of the most spectacular primitive back country campsites in the rockies. Camping in two and three person deluxe backpacking tents allows for a true camping experience. Listen to the sound of the river flow as you fall asleep at night.

Typically, we stay at these campgrounds three to five nights before we pack up and move on. Campers participate in cooking group meals, daily camp chores, pitching camp, making daily activity choices, leading the group, etc...

Groups travel in new, fifteen passenger vans driven by our mature and professional staff. Most of our road trips are short, but there are a few times we will need to travel greater distances, making the longest ride about three hours. (yes! vans have CD players!) Van travel tends to go by quickly as there are many interesting sites to see along the way.

Showers and laundry are available at some of the campsites, and we stop along the way when we camp at sites without these facilities.

Phone calls will be made approximately once every five to seven days at previously scheduled dates and times so that families can plan to be available to take calls.

While sitting around the camp fire at the end of each day, we reflect on both individual and group accomplishments and achievements. As the fire’s embers burn down to a low glow, and brilliant stars fill the night’s sky, we look forward to the new day ahead.
